Job summary

River Grove Health and Rehab is seeking a Certified Med Aide to join our caring team. You will provide medication administration and assist with resident care under provider orders, while supervising residents who self-administer medications in compliance with guidelines.

The role supports a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package including tuition reimbursement and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience and/or training or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to provider orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication following guidelines.
• Report changes in residents' condition or behaviors.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, activities, incidents, and observations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations

Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience working directly with older adults preferred
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
