Base pay range

$24.00/hr - $28.12/hr

Job Summary:

Royal Park Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under the supervision of a Nurse. The ideal candidate will be energetic, clinically sound, and passionate about providing quality care to residents.

Essential Functions:

1. Verify the identity of the resident receiving medication and record details of administration.
2. Present medication to the resident, observe ingestion or application, or administer medication using specified processes.
3. Take vital signs.
4. Document reasons if prescribed drugs are not administered.
5. Receive supply of medications and prepare them for administration.
6. Record and restock medication inventories.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of employment for at least one year.
• Successful completion of 80 hours of state-approved training for Certified Medication Assistants.
