Applicant must be certified as a Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a skilled nursing facility. Please note that Medication Aide certification is different than that of a Medication Technician.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the Certified Medication Aide (CMA) will record vital signs, administer medications, and complete treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses in accordance with state and federal guidelines. A qualified applicant will also provide daily nursing care to residents as directed by their personal care plan. These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.
