Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to coordinate medication administration and assist residents with daily living activities.

Requirements include CMA certification as required by state regulations. You will administer medications, support daily care, monitor residents' well-being, document actions, and communicate needs to the Health Care Director. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administering medication for all assigned residents
• Assisting with daily care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals
• Monitoring residents' physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records; convey urgent needs to Health Care Director
• Demonstrating ability to manage tasks within scheduled shifts
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Job description

$75 bi-weekly bonus for perfect attendance for full time associates

$35 bi-weekly bonus for perfect attendance for part time associates

$1.25 per hour shift bonus for second shift

$1 per hour bonus for weekend shifts

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Administering medication for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreementConfidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
