Job Summary

Regency Memory Care will be opening soon in Mt. Sterling, KY, and seeks an experienced CMA. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, supporting daily activities, and maintaining a safe and secure environment while promoting independence, dignity, and respect. They will monitor and ensure the general, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents. Additional duties include assisting with daily meal service, housekeeping, and laundry services as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Kentucky Medication Aide Certification.
• Kentucky Food Handler card.
• CPR certification, preferred by the American Heart Association.

Physical Requirements

This position requires walking, standing, and performing care duties and housekeeping tasks throughout the work schedule. Sitting is only during breaks. The role involves lifting 10 to 50 pounds regularly, with frequent bending, reaching, stretching, kneeling, squatting, and twisting.

Experience

• One to two years of long-term care or dementia care experience preferred.
