Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a CMA to provide medication administration and treatment assistance to residents. The role includes supervising self-administered medications and documenting changes in residents’ conditions, with emphasis on safety and quality of care.

Qualification requirements include CMA certification and a high school diploma, plus 1+ year CMA experience. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected in this caring community.

Qualifications

• CMA certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of CMA experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience working directly with older adults is preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance per health care provider orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication following guidelines.
• Report changes in residents' physical condition or behaviors.
• Maintain resident records for medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.

CMA responsibilities:

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to the health care provider's orders

• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines

• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors

• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations

CMA Required skills and qualifications:

• CMA certification required

• High school diploma or GED

• One year of CMA experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Previous experience working directly with older adults preferred

• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Must enjoy working with the senior population
