Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Georgia.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably with seniors.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Job description

The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Claiborne Senior Living, LLC in Martinez, Georgia, is responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medication to our senior residents. This is a full-time, hourly healthcare/medical position, with the CMA serving as an individual contributor. The CMA will provide compassionate care and assistance to residents, maintain accurate documentation and records, and report to the Director of Nursing. The role offers a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report changes
• Assist residents with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and bathing
• Keep medication cart and storage area clean and safe
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
• Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Georgia
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably with seniors
• Knowledge of medication administration and documentation
• Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
• Background check and drug screening required
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
