Job summary

Westview Care Center is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join our supportive team. This position is available for 2nd Shift part-time, PRN, with weekend package options, and also 1st Shift PRN with weekend options.

As a CMA, you will administer medications, monitor residents, and assist with daily living activities. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered State of Iowa CNA certificate.
• Medication Aide course completion required.
• Experience with activities of daily living and patient safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications for residents in a safe and timely manner.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report findings.
• Assist with activities of daily living and maintain a safe environment for residents.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable. Medication Aide course completion required.

As a Certified Medication Aide, you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Westview Care Centerby performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
