Apple Rehab Clipper in Westerly, RI invites you to join a caring, family‑oriented skilled nursing team. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will administer prescribed medications, document dosages, and coordinate with nurses to support resident care and safety.

We offer competitive pay ($25–$28 per hour) with shift differentials and full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules. A RI CMA license and a high school diploma are required; strong communication and pharmacology knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in medication administration and accurate dosage recording.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed and non-prescription medications to patients as part of their daily care routine.
• Coordinate with nurses to provide assistance in patient care and medication management.
• Adhere to written or verbal instructions on medication management, ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Maintain records of medication dosages and administration times.
• Regularly observe patients, document changes in their condition, and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team.
• Collect samples for analysis as required.
• Ensure routine inspection and cleaning of equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient healthcare environment.
• Respond promptly to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs.
