Job summary

High Shoals Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Aide/Certified Medication Aide for full-time work in a compassionate, nonprofit setting. You will administer physician-ordered medications and provide essential resident care under clinical guidelines, while maintaining accurate documentation in the patient record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Aide in Georgia.
• Certified Medication Aide in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician ordered medications (oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal, rectal).
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 under physician direction.
• Administer medications via metered dose inhaler.
• Perform finger stick blood glucose testing per guidelines.
• Document medication administration or declination in resident records.
• Report unusual reactions and inform resident/family and provider.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care (bathing, grooming, dressing) as needed.
• Complete dressing changes per clinical guidelines and orders.
