Job summary

Park Manor The Woodlands is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to support our clinical team and safely administer prescribed medications under licensed supervision. You will monitor patients, maintain precise medication records, and assist with basic care activities to ensure comfort and safety for residents.

The role requires current Texas CMA certification, a high school diploma, and strong communication to work with patients and staff in a respectful, compliant manner at our Woodlands

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent credential recognized by Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of medication administration principles and healthcare safety standards.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet health screening requirements.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients following established protocols and under the supervision of licensed nurses.
• Monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions and communicate observations to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication administration records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with patient care activities as directed, including basic health monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition.
• Ensure medication storage areas are organized, secure, and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and competency evaluations to maintain certification and stay current with best practices.
