An established industry player is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to provide essential care and supervision in a crisis stabilization unit. Pay Range: $15.00 Hourly w/ Shift differential
Brief Job Description:
Provides monitoring direct care services at the ACSU 24 hours. Certified Medication Aides are responsible for ensuring safety of residents and maintaining a therapeutic milieu. In addition, Certified Medication Aides respond to crisis calls, process paperwork related to various evaluations, and interact with individuals walking into the facility seeking crisis services. Lastly, Certified Medication Aides document and monitor client self-administration and work with the supervising LPN, RN, and APRN to be a lead in terms of medication issues when other medically trained staff are not on shift.
Essential Functions:
QUALIFICATION:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Must be a Kentucky Certified Medication Aide. Must have or obtain certification in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The schedule is negotiable but to include nights or weekends.
***All 30+ hour positions will be enrolled in our company retirement program through the Kentucky Public Pension Authority (KPPA); six percent (6%) of your gross income will be deducted from each check. All LifeSkills Inc. / Pennyroyal Inc. employees who work 30 hours or more a week are required to participate in this program.
The employee contribution rate is set by the State General Assembly. Employee contributions are deposited into member accounts. These contributions to the retirement system are currently tax deferred. Member accounts are kept confidential between the member and the Kentucky Retirement Systems.
