Description

Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider, and observe/report responses to your supervisor.

Certified Medication Aides/Techs are responsible for ensuring the medication supply room is organized and clean, assisting with medication cart audits, and providing accurate counts of all medications. They will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.

Completion of training/certification is required as per state regulation.

The base pay will be determined by the applicant’s skills and experience. The role is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. To support associates’ citizenship journey, Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725, for qualified associates employed for at least one year.
