Job summary

Right Staff is seeking a Certified Medication Aide in Iowa to join a team dedicated to high-quality care. The role involves assessing residents, developing care plans, ensuring CMA guideline adherence, and communicating with physicians and staff to maintain smooth shifts.

Responsibilities include administering medications, reporting abuse, and documenting in PCC. Strong CNA credentials in Iowa and current CPR certification are required, with a 60-hour CMA certificate.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE A CMA CERTIFICATE (60 HOUR COURSE)
• CNA for Iowa
• Certified Medication Aide certification (60 hours)
• Current CPR certificate

• Assure quality care is delivered through the utilization of CMA processes and guidelines
• Identify and communicate changes in residents' status to physicians and staff

• Document appropriately as needed or required in PCC
• Push/pull 30 pounds of force required to move medication carts and to transport residents in wheelchair
