Core Hours

Monday - Friday
3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Shift differential of $2.50/hr)

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Medication Aide, you will:

  1. Administer prescribed medications to incarcerated patients, ensuring adherence to medical orders and facility protocols
  2. Verify patient identity and ensure proper ingestion/application of medications
  3. Maintain accurate documentation of all medication administration and patient observations using electronic medical records
  4. Monitor patients’ responses to medications and notify the nurse of any unexpected reactions
  5. Assist with basic medical evaluations, including obtaining vital signs and diabetic readings
  6. Manage and maintain medication inventories in accordance with facility policies and reorder supplies as needed
  7. Follow strict security guidelines while providing care in a correctional facility
What We’re Looking For:
  1. Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification
  2. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have held it for at least 2 years
  3. Strong documentation skills to maintain clear and concise patient records
  4. Understanding of security protocols in a correctional setting
  5. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situation
