Job summary

Tucson Place Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Medication Tech to support residents with medication administration and quality care. A CMA certification and experience with older adults are required to ensure compliance with state guidelines and resident safety.

The role emphasizes clear communication in English with residents and staff, and a compassionate, organized approach to multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) with state certification
• Minimum six months' experience with older adults
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Responsible for medication assistance per physician orders and state requirements

Highlights of the Medication Tech Position:

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet the state's specific certification requirements ( required )


• A minimum of six (6) months relevant experience working with older adults ( priority given )


• Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff


• Responsible for medication assistance or administration of medications, according to the state requirements and written physicians’ orders.
