Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Sterling, VA is seeking compassionate CNAs to support residents across daily living, personal care, and activities. You will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure timely care and administer medications as needed, while following individual care plans and ensuring resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CNA certification for the working state.
• Current Medication Administration Certification per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year CNA experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year Medication Administration experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents' physical, spiritual, emotional and clinical needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Implement personal care plans focusing on residents' strengths and routines.
• Provide assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Work with the clinical team to address needs promptly.
• Administer medications to residents.

• $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME POSITIONS! (does not include PRN or current employees.)

• Compensation: ranges from $22/hour - $24.75/hour, plus applicable shift differentials. ($1.50/hour on weekday evenings, $2.00/hour on weekday nights, $3.00/hour on weekends for all shifts)

How you will make an impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Administration of medication to residents

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred.
