Job summary

Fundamental in Houston is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to support the nursing team. You will ensure patients receive their medications and compassionate care during a 7am–7pm shift.

The ideal candidate is a licensed CNA with a current Medication Administrative Certificate, strong communication, and at least 1 year of CNA experience; reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA in good standing with the state.
• Must have a current Medication Administrative Certificate approved by the state.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.
• 1+ years of experience as a CNA.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer oral, nasal, eye, ear, and topical medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures and state law.
• Provide additional, varied care services to patients as instructed and under the supervision of nursing staff

Posted Salary Range

USD $16.25 - USD $18.75 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
