Job summary

Highgate at Flagstaff is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist with medication administration under the supervision of licensed nurses, monitor resident conditions, and support activities of daily living.

You will document medication administration accurately, maintain a safe, clean environment, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans that enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Medication Aide certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care or senior living.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the administration of medications to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse

• Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing staff

• Provide direct care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Document medication administration and resident care accurately and timely

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for our residents

• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Medication Aide in the state of Arizona

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a long-term care or senior living setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Compliant with all infection control and OSHA regulations
