CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE POSITION SUMMARY

The CMA delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state. The CMA assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours; works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, the patient and other staff members.

CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE SCHEDULE

• Full Time
• Day Shift 8am-4:30pm
• Evening Shift 6 pm-2:30am
• 32 hours weekly
• Every weekend

• Must possess a current and valid CMA / CMT certificate in the state of employment
• Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice
• Experience in corrections desired but not required
