Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Charles B. Webster Detention Center in Augusta, Georgia.

This full-time day-shift role runs 7:30am-4pm, Monday through Friday, offering competitive wages, an annual incentive bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The CMA will provide patient care within the scope of practice, maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid CMA certificate.
• Experience in correctional or behavioral health is desired but not required.
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, 7:30am–4pm, Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Provide CMA duties within scope of practice.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation within facility policies.

CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION SUMMARY

The CMA delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state. The CMA assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours; works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, the patient and other staff members.

• Must possess a current and valid CMA certificate
• Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice
• Experience in Correctional or behavioral desired but not required
