Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Ashby Ponds location seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support residents with daily living and clinical needs. You will administer medications, assist with activities of daily living, and implement individual care plans in collaboration with the clinical team.

Ideal candidates hold a current CNA certification for the state, a Medication Administration certification, and CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working.
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Medication Administration experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents.
• Assist residents in activities of daily living.
• Implement residents' personal care plans focusing on preferences and routines.
• Provide assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to address residents' needs promptly.
• Support residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.

Location: Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Certified Medication Aide (CMAs). Our CMAs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs.

What We Offer

• $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME POSITIONS! (does not include PRN or current employees.)

• Compensation: ranges from $22/hour - $24.75/hour, plus applicable shift differentials. ($1.50/hour on weekday evenings, $2.00/hour on weekday nights, $3.00/hour on weekends for all shifts)

How You Will Make An Impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Administration of medication to residents

What You Will Need

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred.
