Job summary

The Warr Acres facility is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide compassionate patient care and support daily clinical operations in Oklahoma. You will take vital signs, assist with examinations, and administer medications under the supervision of a physician.

Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, collecting lab specimens, and maintaining sterile equipment while using EMR and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• Take and record vital signs, and document data accurately.
• Prepare patients for exam and assist with positioning.
• Assist with minor procedures under physician supervision.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.

• Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, and pulse.
• Prepare patients for examination by explaining procedures and assisting with positioning.
• Assist with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Collect laboratory specimens (e.g., urine, blood) and perform basic lab tests.
• Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and instruments.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Experience:

Previous experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting preferred.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Skills:

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care practices.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and administering injections.
