Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; ASCP certification or AMT equivalence expected.
• ASCP certification considered equivalent to ASCP.
• Experience in automated clinical laboratory environments and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis of body fluids and tissues; ensure data reliability before reporting.
• Provide professional communication with clinicians, staff, and patients; handle telephone inquiries.
• Conduct quality control checks on procedures, equipment, reagents, and stains; document QC data and maintenance logs.
• Maintain competencies and complete mandatory education; train new employees and students.
• Perform miscellaneous duties with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of an HRO.
