Job Description

• You will be performing routine laboratory tests used for the treatment of diseases.
• You Analyze blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures.
• You maintain laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• You conserve laboratory resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• You provide medical technology information by answering questions and requests.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Tech from a hospital (1st choice), clinic or lab setting.
• Must be certified as a Medical Technologist in the state of Idaho
• Certification by an accrediting organization such as ASCP, AMT.
• Microbiology experience in a clinical laboratory is strongly preferred
• Sunquest LIS, Top 500 Analyzer and Beckman LH Analyzer experience
