Job summary

Texas Oncology - Odessa is seeking a full-time Medical Physicist (Certified) to join our team. The role involves HDR planning, SBRT and SRS support, and maintaining Radiation Safety Officer duties to ensure regulatory compliance.

A Texas license and CAMPEP training are required. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support external beam workflows, and may travel occasionally to Midland, TX to assist the sister clinic as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Medical Physics from an accredited college or university.
• Graduate from a CAMPEP accredited residency program.
• ABR board certification (or equivalent).
• Full Texas licensure.
• HDR planning and treatment experience.
• The ability to be added to the RAM license.
• Experience with SRS, SBRT, and HDR.
• Strong organization and oral / written communication skills.
• The ability to travel on an occasional basis to support the sister clinic in Midland, Texas (20 miles).

Responsibilities

• HDR planning and treatment support.
• Radiation Safety Officer duties for x-ray registration and RAM licenses.
• Support SBRT, SRS and HDR procedures.
