What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Meet minimum production goals while maintaining accuracy in medical coding
- Review and respond to inquiries related to medical coding from providers and staff
- Collaborate with billing office to correct and resubmit claims based on provider and payer input
- Ensure claims are coded consistently in accordance with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS guidelines
- Maintain electronic records and logs, and operate office equipment as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside in one of the following states: WA, OR, ID, UT, AZ, TX, VA, FL
- Minimum of 2 years of medical coding experience
- Proficient in navigating insurance and revenue cycle management processes
- Professional coder certification through a recognized organization such as AAPC or AHIMA (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to educate providers remotely

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of medical billing experience
- Experience in reviewing insurance denials and payer policies
- Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
