Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to perform a range of patient care activities under supervision by a physician, APP, or RN in accordance with established guidelines.

The role supports a collaborative team focused on high-quality care in Georgia. Ideal candidates will have a Medical Assistant program credential or equivalent, and may have one year of clinical experience in lieu of formal education.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred; or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program required
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and

Work Experience

• No experience required Required or
• In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required or
