Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on Washington’s North Olympic Peninsula seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to perform clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an outpatient clinic under supervision. The role supports the care team and coordinates with the provider to ensure efficient patient flow.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, WA DOH–accredited MA program, BLS within 30 days of hire, and a current WA MA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Current Medical Assistant certification issued by WA DOH required (approved/interim/pending acceptable for first 30 days).

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant – Certified provides clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an OMP outpatient clinic.
• Under supervision and direction of a provider, performs duties consistent with MA training and certification.
• Supports the care team and coordinates with the provider to ensure smooth patient flow.
