Job summary

Olympic Medical Center seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to perform clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an outpatient clinic. Under supervision of a provider, you will execute duties aligned with your MA education, training and certification to support patient care.

One year of outpatient health-care experience is preferred; WA DOH MA certification and BLS are required or achieved within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health required.
• Current WA State DOH Medical Assistant Certification (approved/interim/pending acceptable for 30 days).
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an outpatient clinic.
• Perform duties consistent with Medical Assistant training, education and certification.
• Support providers and nursing coordination as needed.
