Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support our Urology Division across Denville, Newton and Dover. You will perform vital signs, EKGs, patient prep and injections while assisting physicians.

Strong communication, organization and ability to multitask are essential. Travel to other locations as needed; competitive pay with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational and planning abilities.
• Travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and EKGs.
• Prepare patients for examinations.
• Obtain and update patient medication lists; administer injections.
• Authorize prescription refills as directed by physicians.
• Perform EMR data entry and room patients; assist with clerical tasks as needed.

You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management and communicate with accuracy, quality and timeliness.Duties include: Taking and recording vital signs and EKGs. Preparing patients for examinations. Obtain and update patient medication lists and give injections. Authorizing prescription refills as directed by physicians. EMR, rooming patients, clerical work, if needed.Requirements:Medical Assistant Certification requiredProven working experience as a medical assistantKnowledge of medical office management systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillswilling to travel to other locations as neededPay Range: $21/hr - $30/hrPay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated pay range for this position.
