You will contribute to efficient patient flow, EMR documentation, and coordination of scheduling, procedures, and referrals in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years of surgical experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification Required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Record vital signs and update EMR with patient histories.
• Document patient communications and electronically prescribe medications under physician supervision.
• Act as liaison between patients and providers, ensuring clear communication.
• Prepare, stock, and sanitize exam rooms and equipment per OSHA standards.
• Assist with scheduling appointments, surgeries, and referrals.
• Follow up on test results, medication authorizations, and post-operative care instructions.
• Assist physicians with in-office procedures as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Office Supervisor.
