Job summary

Integra Vascular LLC in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Brooklyn Office-Based Lab. The CMA will support physicians, registered nurses, and the surgical team to ensure smooth, safe procedure days.

Responsibilities include assisting with pre- and post-operative care, patient preparation, EMR documentation, vital signs, and maintaining infection control. OBL experience preferred; BLS and CMA credentials required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• CMA credential required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a medical assistant; OBL or surgical center experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurses during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of patient care.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including intake, vitals, and comfort measures.
• Support physicians with procedural needs to ensure efficient clinical workflows.
• Monitor and care for patients before and after surgery.
• Perform floor duties including waste disposal, equipment sanitization, and OR prep/maintenance.
• Document accurately and timely in the EMR system.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with charting and documentation.
• Organize, disseminate, and store patient records and treatment plans.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in all patient care and facility protocols.
• Identify and address daily needs to ensure smooth operations.
