Talentify is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical care in a fast-paced office. You will assist providers, manage patient flow, greet patients, and take vital signs, while accurately documenting in the EHR and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, performing routine injections under supervision, and providing clerical support to keep the front and back office running smoothly.

Formación

• Completion of a post-secondary medical assisting program required.
• Medical assistant certification preferred (AAMA or NHA).
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in providing clinical care to office patients as delegated by supervising provider.
• Manages provider’s daily schedule and patient flow to expedite care and maximize clinical time.
• Goes with patients, greets and escorts to exam rooms, and verifies two-patient identifiers.
• Communicates status of delegated task completion to supervising provider.
• Obtains relevant information and takes vitals as indicated (height, weight, BP, pulse, resp rate, SpO2).
• Inputs pertinent clinical information into the EHR timely and accurately; collects home med lists.
• Assists clinicians with procedures and/or tests; informs patient of visit status and delays.
• Prepares and maintains exam rooms; notifies supervisor to order supplies and equipment.
• Under supervision administers routine injections and documents in real time.
• Participates in meetings/trainings to promote continuous quality improvement.
• Takes initiative to learn community resources and healthcare system.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality per HIPAA/CCHC.
• Provides clerical/office support (scheduling, greeting/registering, scanning, records prep, calls).
• Ability to float to other MACC practices when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
