Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant Certification program preferred.
• Basic CPR certification required.
• Phlebotomy and/or Venipuncture certification may be required.
• One year of MA experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams, nursing treatments, and procedures as ordered.
• Prepare patient for examination and maintain privacy.
• Manage EMR documentation and charting.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Maintain inventory and prepare exam rooms.
• Support scheduling and coordinate with specialists.
