Job summary

Sentara Family Medicine Physicians Greenbrier in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant. The role offers an opportunity for new grads and includes a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for qualified candidates, with a Monday through Friday, 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include patient care and administrative tasks under supervision, with required CMA/RMA/CCMA/EMT-B certification at hire and BLS within 90 days. Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA, RMA, CCMA or EMT-B on the first day of employment.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire date.
• Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and administrative/clerical tasks as delegated by physicians and health staff.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in daily operations.
• Assist with clinical procedures and patient flow in a back/front office setting.
