Job Description

The individual is responsible for assisting physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses, nurses, and Behavioral Health Consultants with delegated responsibilities. Traveling may be necessary to cover other locations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist physician/nurse practitioner with clinic duties, including phone calls, medication education materials, and managing referrals.
• Enter vital signs and clinical data into patient records, ensuring accuracy.
• Prepare patient charts and information for appointments.
• Coordinate patient care data, such as medication assistance and drug utilization evaluations.
• Complete prior authorizations for medications and referrals.
• Attend continuing education to maintain certification.
• Review outpatient medication storage and administration locations for pharmacy review.

Requirements

• CMA certification is required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
