Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Medical Assisting certificate is required.
• Current Medical Assistant certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) required on hire.
• Radiology training or phlebotomy experience preferred; OSHA training completed within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Register patient upon entrance to facility.
• Prepare equipment and rooms and aid physician with treatment of patients.
• Perform vitals and prep patients for examinations.
• Rotate among clinical and non-clinical areas (lab, x-ray, front office).
• Perform radiographic and other imaging procedures as directed by the physician.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation for lab and radiology activities.
