Job summary

Palm Medical Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and the care team in a managed care setting. The MA will handle clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.

The role requires CMA experience with certification, phlebotomy preferred, and the ability to administer injections under supervision. Excellent patient interaction and HIPAA compliance are essential, with a day schedule and 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Certified Medical Assistant experience.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness for patient visits.
• Escort patients, document vital signs, chief complaint, and history in the EHR.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer injections under supervision and per policy.
• Perform EKGs, vision tests, and other screenings as needed.
• Collect and label lab specimens; document properly.
