Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification within 12 months of start date is required if not already certified at hiring (MA certs accepted: CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, NCCT, etc.).
• BLS Basic Life Support from American Heart Association is required at hire for this location or prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver excellent customer service.
• Prepare and review patient charts for visits by verifying diagnostic test results and other medical records.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, height).
• Perform clerical duties: check inventory, stock supplies, track referrals, answer phones.
