Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of a physician or APP in an ambulatory setting. The role supports examinations, data collection, and patient education within a Primary Care clinic located in Zephyrhills, FL.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school or verifiable work experience in patient care.
• Must maintain current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care under physician/APP supervision in ambulatory care.
• Assist during examinations and procedures.
• Gathers patient data through interviews and observation.
• Document treatments and patient education per policy.
• Coordinate scheduling and testing with patients as needed.
