Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA) at our Fulton, MD practice to provide high-quality patient care. The MA administers medications and immunizations, takes vital signs, and supports efficient patient flow while maintaining inventory and ensuring safety.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and be a Certified Medical Assistant with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant required with successful completion of the listed certs (AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA, NCMA, RCMAS, or CCMA).
• Valid CPR certification required upon hire and recertification every two years.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and immunizations.
• Obtains vital signs.
• Maintains inventory of supplies.
• Ensures safe and efficient patient flow.
• Tracks high-risk referrals and lab tests.
• Facilitates safe transitions of care.
• Organizes practice environment to assure patient safety and quality outcomes.
