Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a physician, APP, or RN in accordance with established guidelines. This role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to clinical standards in a busy Georgia clinic.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited MA or Nursing Assistant program, or equivalent clinical experience, plus BCLS and relevant certification.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• CMA-AAMA certification or NCMA-NCTT required.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Work Experience

Licenses and Certifications
