Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, APP, or RN in line with established guidelines. The ideal candidate will have completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program and/or 1 year of related clinical experience.

Required certifications include BCLS and CMA or NCMA, with preference for a GED or equivalent education.

Qualifications

• GED preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required
