The CMA is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients presenting with urgent, emergency, or potential health problems. Applicants should have formal training, indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited CMA program, and current CMA certification. Preferred qualifications include experience and current CPR certification.
