Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience in clinical tasks such as vital signs and phlebotomy.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and general medical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patients' vital signs and medical histories accurately.
• Perform phlebotomy and draw blood samples following proper protocols and safety standards.
• Assist Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Manage patient scheduling, medical records, and documentation using medical terminology and office software.
• Provide patient education and support, ensuring clear communication regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
