Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Washington state is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers, take patient histories and vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.

You will assist with exams and procedures, maintain sterile technique, manage injections, and ensure accurate EMR data entry; current WA MA certification and national certification preferred, BLS by hire date, and strong medical terminology knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• WA State MA Certification required.
• Current national MA certification preferred.
• BLS certification by date of hire.
• Proficient with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greets and rooms patients per standard.
• Takes patients history and vital signs.
• Prepares patients for exam.
• Assists provider with exam/procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Maintains sterile environment per WA transmission precautions.
• Administers injections per provider orders.
