Job summary

A leading health organization is looking for a Medical Assistant I, Certified, in Goldsboro, NC. The successful candidate will provide clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include assisting providers during examinations, collecting patient data, and maintaining treatment rooms. Certification and prior experience are preferred. This is a part-time, onsite position with hourly pay between $16.03 and $23.05.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification by AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA required.
• Basic Life Support Certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Prior medical assistant or medical assistant externship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake process and collect vital signs.
• Assist provider during treatments and examinations.
• Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy.
