Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required from American Heart Association.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program with successful certification exam required (CMA/RMA/CCMA and related).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage front desk tasks including scheduling appointments.
• Input ICD/CPT coding and assist with billing/QA documentation.
• Coordinate with home health, hospice, DME and other partners as directed.
• Monitor Epic In Basket messages and respond promptly.
• Perform nursing visits and assist with well visits or physicals as directed.
• Assist providers during procedures and examinations and maintain clean, safe patient areas.
