The individual will document chart data, perform vital signs, collect specimens, and perform POC testing, while assisting with front desk tasks and patient flow.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience using EMR/EHR systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Take and record vital signs for adults, pediatrics, and gynecology.
• Perform Point of Care testing (EKG, glucose, HgbA1c, urinalysis).
• Phlebotomy and rapid testing as ordered by provider.
• Document all entries in the patient chart and manage EPIC queues.
• Coordinate patient flow and prepare exam rooms for providers and nurses.
• Assist with front desk tasks and collect payments.
• Maintain infection control and clean exam rooms and equipment.
